Creating a New Query

Creating a new query is fast and easy using the Query Builder Wizard Mode (the default). During the creation process you will be able to:

  • Add and Join tables
  • Choose, edit and create columns
  • Create grouped results
  • Filter results
  • Sort results
  • Create and add parameters

Steps

  1. Select Custom Data Sources \ Databases \ Queries from the Analytics home screen. A list of queries displays (see Working with Queries for more information about this page).
  2. To create a new query press Add Query at the top of the Queries screen. The New Query pane appears.

  3. Fill in the options (described below) to define the initial settings for a new query.

  4. Press Edit Query to continue to the Query Editor.
