*NIX Servers screen

How to get there

In the Navigation Pane, choose Deployment Manager, then *NIX Servers. If the menu is hidden, hover over the Navigation Pane to expand it.

What it does

The *NIX Servers screen provides a list of your *NIX servers that have Fortra products on them. From here, you can also gain a quick view of pertinent server information, such as the server OS version and authentication status.

You can also use this page to add or import *NIX servers.

Options

Import; Upload *NIX Servers • Import PTAV Endpoints

Choose Upload *NIX Servers to open the Upload *NIX Servers screen where you can upload several *NIX severs simultaneously with a .csv file.

Choose Import PTAV Endpoints to open the Import PTAV Endpoints screen, where you can import allowed PTAV endpoint servers.

Add • Edit

Opens the New/Edit *NIX Server pane, where you can add a new *NIX Server or edit an existing one.

(Show Actions)

Select this to show a menu with the following options:

• Select Edit to view server information. For more information on how to add or edit a server, see Adding or Editing a *NIX Server.
• Select Validate Connection to check if the server information and credentials are valid. This will also refresh the list of installed Fortra products on the system.
• Select Delete to delete a *NIX server connection.
