How to Get There

From the Powertech Exit Point Manager for IBM i Main Menu, select option 3, Active Analytics.

What it Does

The Active Analytics Menu allows access to settings for Captured Transactions and Memorized Transactions, and options for subsetting and filter maintenance.

Options

  1. Summarized Transactions
    The Summarized Captured Transactions panel allows you to display all transactions matching a specific server, function, and action as well as work with User and Location authorities. See Work with Summarized Captured Transactions.

  2. All Captured Transactions
    The Work with Captured Transactions panel allows you to display and delete Captured Transactions, as well as memorize and create user, location, and pre-filter rules. See Work with Captured Transactions.

  3. Filters
    The Work with Filters panel allows you to create and maintain filter attributes. See Work with Filters.

  4. Saved Views
    The Work with Saved Views panel allows you to display and delete Saved Views. See Work with Saved Views.

  5. Summarization Strategy
    The Summarization Strategy panel allows you to display and change the Summarization Strategy level attributes. See Summarization Strategy.

Command Keys

F3 (Exit): Exit the screen without processing any pending changes.

F4 (Prompt): Provides assistance in entering or selecting a command.

F7 (Select System): Use to work with data from a different System.

F9 (Retrieve): Displays the last command you entered on the command line and any parameters you included.

F12 (Cancel): Exit the screen without processing any pending changes.

F21 (Alerts): Displays the Alerts panel where Powertech products can post errors, warnings or other general notifications to the administrator.

F22 (Status): Displays the Operational Resources pop-up window containing the status of several operational aspects of Powertech products.
