Copy map elements
1. In the map, click the map element you want to copy.
2. Press and hold Ctrl as you drag away the map element.
3. Continue to press Ctrl as you release the mouse button. If you release the Ctrl key first, the elements will be moved rather than copied.
Notes
Map elements include pages, labels, shapes, pictures, sequences, and tour sequences. All but pages have visible handles; if you click and drag a handle, you may resize the element instead of moving it.
You can copy and move elements between CuteSITE Builder files.
To cancel a copy in progress, press Esc. To undo a completed copy, press Edit > Undo.
You can copy more than one map element at the same time by dragging a selection box around the elements and then pressing and holding Ctrl and dragging away copies of all the selected elements.
To add or subtract elements from a group selection, press and hold either the Shift key or Ctrl key and then click the elements.
If you lock the map background, the group selection box selects pages, labels, sequences, and tour sequences, but not shapes and pictures.
You can also copy a single map element or group of map elements using the Cut, Copy, and Paste icons, the Edit menu commands, or the right-click menu commands.
You cannot move map elements beyond the borders of the map. However, you can drag an element against the edge of the map window to cause the map to scroll. Use the OverAll Map to locate a map element that is out of sight, or scroll the map to bring the element into view. As an alternative to scrolling, you can choose Map > Main > 200% or Map > Main > 100% to change the level of detail in the map.
