When you create an PCI DSS-enabled Site, EFT Server creates an Event Rule Generate Report Action that executes one of EFT Server’s Auditing and Reporting Module's (ARM) canned or customer created/modified reports, such as the PCI DSS Compliance Report, from the Timer, Monitor, File System, and other Events.
The report is converted to HTML and then e-mailed or saved to a file specified by the EFT Server administrator.
You can edit the Rule or define your own and specify a predefined or custom date range (e.g., "last week"), report output format (e.g., PDF, HTML), optional parameters (which can take variables if applicable to the specified Action (Once an Event Rule is triggered and assuming all conditions are met, EFT Server launches one or more user-definable Actions, such as executing a command, sending an e-mail, offloading a file, etc. or a combination of multiple actions)), and filters.
Optionally, you can run the PCI DSS Compliance report "on the fly" on the EFT Administrator main menu. When the report is generated on the fly, the report audits "point-in-time" status rather than past status. If the HS module is not activated, the PCI DSS Compliance Report is not available.
