Importing PGP Keys
You can import PGP Keys created with a third-party application like Kleopatra through the Arcus Management Site.
ASCII-armored keys with an .asc extension need to be uploaded to the Certs -> PgpKeyImports directory in the Web Transfer Client, then upload the ImportPgpKey.json file to initiate the import process.
To import PGP keys into EFT Arcus
-
Create a JSON-formatted input file named ImportPGPKey.json.
-
In the file, the JSON should be formatted as follows:
{"Site":"supp02","KeyId":"petshop"}
Where "suppo02" is the name of the Site, and "petshop" is the name of the Key.
-
Log into the Web Transfer Client using your Arcus Management Template user account.
-
Navigate to the Certs > PgpKeyIMports folder.
-
Upload the PGP key (.ASC file) and the JSON file to the Certs -> PgpKeyImports folder.
