Consolidator Options

  • To display the Consolidator options, right-click the Consolidator system in the System Groups tab. You can select from the following options:
  • New Endpoint: Displays the New Endpoint window, allowing you to define a new Endpoint system to the Consolidator.
  • New Group: Displays the Create System Group window, allowing you to define a new system group.
  • Edit Security Policy: Displays the Edit Security Policy window, allowing you to view and modify the base security policy shipped with Powertech Compliance Monitor for IBM i, or define a new security policy.
  • Users and Groups: Displays the Authorized Users window, which allows you to define the users and groups that are allowed to log in to, and use, the Consolidator.
  • Batch Assessments/Reporting: Displays the Batch Assessments and Report Distribution window, which allows you to define batch assessments, schedule when to collect data and distribute reports, and define the recipients of the reports.
  • Properties: Displays the Consolidator Properties window. You can view Consolidator system information, set a schedule to automatically harvest data from QAUDJRN, and specify the maximum number of assessments and how long they'll be available.
  • Preferences: Displays the User Preferences window, which allows you to customize your report configuration, define Header and Footer information, specify report links to the Powertech Compliance Guide, and edit Policy report display colors.
  • Logout: Logs you off the Consolidator system. A confirmation window asks you to confirm that you want to log out.
  • Help: Displays the online help for the Systems Groups tab. From there, you can display any Compliance Monitor help.
  • Compliance Guide: Displays the Powertech Compliance Guide in a new window.
