Global Options Dialog Box

The Global Options dialog box is used to configure settings that apply to every Site and every transfer. (You can override these settings in a Site's Properties dialog box.) Procedures for using Global Options are numerous and organized in this user guide by function. Refer to the Contents, Index, or Quick Reference Guide to jump to the procedure you are looking for.

To open the Global Options dialog box

  • On the main menu, click Tools > Global Options or press ALT+F7. The Global Options dialog box opens to the page that was displayed when the dialog box was closed.

The General node is used to configure various startup and exit events, download defaults, shell integration, and log settings.
